Starting from 2026, new applications for the NT$30 Billion Rent Subsidy Program will only be accepted for rental properties that meet legal registration requirements. To be eligible, the rental unit must: Have a registered house tax ID, and Be officially registered as a legal building (or have valid legal certification documents) Please note that properties without proper registration—such as rooftop additions or other unregistered structures—will no longer qualify for new subsidy applications. We encourage students to confirm that their rental housing meets these requirements before applying.
